Are you open every week?

Yes. We only close on major holidays such as Christmas and New Years.

Can I donate items when you are closed?

No. Donations are only accepted during open hours. Equipment or supplies left at any other time jeopardizes our site lease.

Will you pick up or deliver items?

Not usually. We have no vehicles. Occasionally we make exceptions for large donations. Contact us for details.

Can I arrange to donate a very large item?

If you would like to donate a large item such as a hospital bed, power chair or scooter, lift chair, Hoyer lift, etcetera we will try to match donors directly with people who need the item. We ask recipients to pick up and transport these items. Call us to make arrangements.

Will I receive a donation receipt for tax purposes?

Yes. We are an IRS recognized 501(c)3 nonprofit organization and give you a receipt for items you purchased. We cannot document the value of your donation per IRS regulations. If you have more than five items, prepare a list and bring us a copy to attach to the receipt.

Is there paperwork to sign?

You are asked to sign a liability wavier when you receive equipment or supplies from us. You own the equipment, but we ask that you do not sell it. When you no longer need it, please re-donate it for use by others.
